Friday 2/11/2007 - 1:15pm.
A Full Body (bone) scan was conducted at Dee Why Nuclear Medicine facility.
The results are as follows:-
The CT scan report from 27.10.2007 is noted.
Uptake consistent with arthritis is seen in the AC joints. There is focal increased uptake in the right approximately 3rd MCP joint. This may be due to previous trauma or degenerative change.
Skeletal uptake of tracer eslewhere is within normal limits. In particular, no focal abmormality is seen in the sacrum or pelvis.
Interpretation:
There are no scan features to indicate skeletal metastaic disease however, in view of the CT scan report, a PET scan may be worthy of consideration.
